De V Kalender, ontworpen door Massimo Vignelli's voormalige medewerkers Yoshiki Waterhouse en Beatriz Cifuentes, is een eerbetoon aan wijlen Vignelli's modernistische esthetiek en ontwerpethos. Gebruikmakend van Vignelli's kenmerkende strak gekartelde Helvetica, leggen Cifuentes en Watherhouse alle 365 dagen op één enkel blad, waardoor een golvend patroon doorheen het jaar ontstaat.
Elk jaar wordt de V-kalender in een andere set kleuren gedrukt, en voor 2025 zijn er twee om uit te kiezen. De eerste volgt het monochrome pallet van de Stendig, met zwarte en groene cijfers tegen een strak wit vlak. De tweede, een gelimiteerde oplage, gebruikt Vignelli's lievelingskleur als basislaag, met zwarte en witte cijfers bovenop een uitnodigende uitgestrektheid van superwarm rood.
Het compacte, verticale formaat van 41,3 x 87,6 cm is geschikt voor de meeste plaatsen in huis, van de deur van de koelkast tot de muur van het kantoor en verder. De kalender is voorzien van een drievoudige kop voor extra structuur en wordt geleverd met 3M-ophangstrips. Er worden kleine markeerstickers meegeleverd om het verstrijken van elke maand aan te geven.

New year, new colour
Unlike the Stendig, the V Calendar changes colour every year. The V’s designers, Yoshiki Waterhouse and Beatriz Cifuentes have mapped out a multiyear sequence of colourways. Each colour set in the series is designed to look beautiful on its own, but also to compliment the years that come before and after, following on in a harmonious progression.
Mark each month
The V Calendar comes with a set of 12 peel-off stickers designed to be stuck to the left of the current month’s letter to mark the passage of time. The stickers can be easily peeled off at the end of each month, or left in place, forming a ‘progress’ bar throughout the year.
